Surfer Blood: SXSW 2010

None of these guys surf. And neither do I. But that doesn’t change the fact that they make some of the best indie pop rock out their these days, and have come out with another one of my favorite albums of this year.

So nobody’s going surfing, and it doesn’t really matter. Just grab a pair of headphones and crank this one way up.

Local Natives: SXSW 2010

Local Natives are the most impressive new band in some time. Even more impressive, is their live show, or at least how it sounds from this bootleg, their first of many performances at SXSW the other week. While I won’t be seeing them until the month of May, I’ve been listening to this very special boot to tide me over. You should too.
