For those unfamiliar with GT, the boot is all in one track not because we were too lazy to break it up; rather his shows are all one endless song with thousands of never-ending samples that somehow all work well together. If you still don’t understand, just press play – you’ll get it soon enough.
The album, unlike the single, is a complete offering. It’s not just verse, chorus, verse, chorus, interlude, chorus, outro. It’s not one lone musical idea. It’s an entire pallet of ideas. It’s an opera, a play, a novel. The album can be one of the greatest pieces of art, and when properly done, it’s magical.

Girl Talk (aka Gregg Gillis) just put up his new album “All Day” for free download on his site. I’m currently attempting to download the album, but the servers are backed up pretty far. UPDATE: The album is killer. Check out my fave track so far, where Gillis brilliantly weaves Spacehog’s In The Meantime with Kid Cudi.
